scaly.pet has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments, so we do not collect your name, email address or anything you type. The search box runs entirely in your browser.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and which Amazon links are clicked. It uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and the pages you visit. We use this only to understand what is useful. You can block it with any mainstream browser setting or content blocker, and the site works exactly the same.
Choosing your Amazon store
To show you the right Amazon store, your browser checks its own time zone and language setting. This happens entirely on your device; nothing is sent to us.
Amazon
When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice applies there. Amazon may use a cookie to record that you arrived from scaly.pet so that any commission is credited.
